At Gracie J Home we truly believe the quality and craftsmanship of our products sets them apart from the competition. We use an eco-friendly, sustainable concrete alternative that when handled and maintained with care, create lasting pieces.

All our pieces are mixed, poured and sanded by hand in small batches using sustainable materials and colorants. This handcrafted process can result in slight color and texture variations from batch to batch. Hand pouring our pieces may also leave small voids from bubbles. Some pieces may have more shells than others, or larger shells than the next. It is these subtle differences that make our pieces unique.

Once each piece has been created, we seal it with a water-based sealant. This sealant, while water-resistant, is not dishwasher safe. We recommend cleaning our pieces with a damp cloth and to avoid harsh chemicals and liquids that will stain.

To minimize surface scratches, we have added protective backing to many of our pieces.

COASTERS are backed with cork.

TRAYS, SERENITY DISHES, and PLANT POTS have rubber feet.

MATCH STRIKERS have an abrasive pad on the bottom to aid in striking matches, therefore we suggest they be set on a protective surface to prevent scratches.
